Aortic stenosis is one of the most common and serious valve disease problems. It is a life-threatening disease caused by the narrowing of the opening of the aortic valve.
3% of the population aged 65 are affected by Aortic Stenosis1.
12% of the population aged 75 are affected by Aortic Stenosis1.
50bn dollars to treat Aortic Valve in Europe and in the US2.
1600 patients remain untreated due to absence of diagnosis.
To treat Aortic Stenosis, Cardiawave has developed a non-invasive, real-time image-guided therapy using a cutting-edge ultrasound technology.
Non-Invasive Ultrasound Therapy (NIUT) consists in repairing the aortic valve, not replacing it. No surgery is required.
